War is horrible at any time. Women/men losing their lives for freedom is horrible at any time. Disrespecting their sacrifices so that WE can walk/talk/live freely will ALWAYS be unacceptable. I had the honor of working for Veterans Affairs Canada and interviewed hundreds of veterans, young and old. How dare you judge them. Shame on you. If you really believe in peace (as THEY did); then talk about peace throughout the year, and leave Remembrance Day alone........that day is for remembering what happened, NOT for saying "they shouldn't have gone, they glorified war, violence is wrong". They went freely to help us stay free and to this day, they go far far away to help others find their freedom. I, for one, give thanks to them every time I am privileged to be in a room with them.
